Travel into the past and discover how people lived in the 19th and 20th century. See the Etnographic Park in Sierpc located 1,5 hour drive from Warsaw. The open-air museum gathers typical examples of architecture related directly to Mazovian region including farmhouses, mill, small chapels, crosses and sculptures. Cottages surrounded by nature and animals living here make an impression of a village that is still teeming with life.
The museum covers the flat area of about 60 ha of terrain located on the river Sierpienica. You move around the museum on foot only. From April to end of September you can get inside the houses.
